Mozilla Links – English Edition

Welcome back to Mozilla Links!

As you may already know, we are runnning on a new more robust list
server named Mailman that, like Mozilla, is an open source project.
This should help us prevent subscribers not receiving the latest release
and other issues. Now, you can update you subscription preferences
from Mozilla Links website at http://newsletter.mozdev.org .

Mozilla Links is now being translated into polish and japanese and
released just a little bit later than the english edition. Polish
readers may even subscribe directly to a polish edition of the
newsletter. Spanish and italian translations are coming soon. If you
would like to colaborate translating the newsletter into your own
language, feel free to contact us at newsletter-feedback@mozilla.org

Remember the design contest is running until october 15th. You still
have a chance to define the future shape of this newsletter. Check for
the rules and let your creativity out.

Welcome back to Mozilla Links.

Starting today, we are opening a design contest for Mozilla Links.
You have a chance to let your creativity be known and shape the look
of this newsletter. Take your your best shot at either the Mozilla
Links logo or the Mozilla Links newsletter look. You have until
October 15th, 2003 to send us your work. Winners will be announced in
the following issue to be released on October 28th.

The two winners, one in each category, will receive permanent credit
on the Mozilla Links website and a Mozilla CD autographed by the
hackers we have all come to love and love to push.

After a very busy month since the idea came from the Mozilla
Marketing Mailing List, finally, here it is.

Welcome to the first issue of the Mozilla Links Newsletter.

You will find simple, brief, valuable and centralized information
about everything Mozilla: the main project, independent projects
running here and there to extend Mozilla products’ capabilities, tips
for people starting with these products and not so starters and a
chance for everybody to let his/her voice be counted on our monthly
polls.

We hope you find this information valuable and ejoy it. We appreciate
suggestions and comments you may have, as we are loking forward for
improvement.
